For 16 years, Rich and Michelle Franzen mobilized thousands of teenagers and leaders on short-term missions across the globe. Through Teen Mania Ministries, they served a strategic role in developing the ministry effectiveness and coordinating the logistics for over 500 trips to 45 nations spanning six continents. Collectively, they have personally led 1200 teenagers on short-term trips to 12 countries. Both are graduates of Oral Roberts University and have enhanced their education through numerous leadership and mission's training over the years.
While ministering overseas through short-term trips, their hearts yearned for the continent of Africa. With 28 million people throughout Africa suffering from AIDS and 44% of the continent's population under the age of 14, their hearts broke for the African youth.
In July of 2003, Rich and Michelle began Impact Africa Inc; a non-profit organization created to help those most in need throughout the continent of Africa.
Rich and Michelle reside in Johannesburg, South Africa with their three beautiful children, Skyler (7), Blake (4) and Victoria (2). Their children's young lives are already consumed with the people of Africa as they minister right alongside mom and dad.
