Meet some of the Impact Africa Staff

Rich and Michelle Franzen, Founders

Impact Africa was launched in 2003 by Rich and Michelle Franzen with a vision infused with more than 30 years of combined missions experience. Both graduates of Oral Roberts University, Rich and Michelle mobilized thousands of teenagers and leaders on short-term mission adventures with Teen Mania Ministries prior to starting Impact Africa.

It was while ministering on these short-term mission trips, that a yearning emerged in their hearts specifically for Africa, an afflicted continent with 68% of the worlds HIV and AIDS population. The dream to be an agent of change for those facing the harsh realities that plague Africa became a reality. They now reside with their three children in South Africa and spend their days finding ways to bring Hope to the hopeless.
