18 million South Africans live below the poverty line in impoverished, areas referred to as informal settlements or squatter camps. It is these areas we target with the crusades. HIV and AIDS can reach as high as 85% for those living in the informal settlements. With statistics this high, the mortality rates are soaring out of control. Because of this we sense the urgency to reach those living in these areas before it is too late.
Most of these people cannot get to large stadiums and churches to hear the Gospel message so we go to them. Setting up a stage, sound and lights often on a dirt soccer-field, the conveyance of God's love and compassion we share is met with receptive hearts.
