Impact Africa’s mission is to serve, educate, and rescue individuals while provoking them toward a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ through socially relevant outlets of ministry service; which in turn deeply impact individuals, communities and nations. We are compelled to use every opportunity, gift and talent entrusted to us to fulfill this mission!
Impact Africa is blessed with an incredible international staff consisting of 11 Americans plus wives and 40 local Africans. Impact Africa’s American staff all joined with years of ministry and missions experience and six originated within Impact’s internship program (The Missions Experience Program). Our programs and emphasis include an opportunity to create jobs for local South Africans. Our goal is to continue to recruit and train nationals for as many positions as possible within each department of the ministry. We have found this to be an effective way to sustain long-term strategies and maximize impact on the Communities we are working in. We love and are fueled by the idea of equipping and mobilizing South Africans to impact fellow South Africans.
“I have been learning so much about God’s heart for His people all around the world and how there is such an urgency to share the Gospel with these people who don’t know.”- Sarah Tapp, Class of 2012
“Being an intern at Impact Africa was the greatest decision I've ever made. Before I came here, I was loving and serving Jesus the best I knew how, but it still felt like I was living in black and white. Now, I finally feel like I'm seeing in color. Learning how to share my faith and embracing the Great Commission has made me come alive in a way I've never felt before.”- Sarah Miller, class of 2016
“This was my first mission trip and it literally transformed me and changed my life! I love what Impact Africa is doing for the people of Africa! Before this trip I hadn't ever had a passion for missions or an understanding of how important missions really is! Now I want to live my life for the Gospel! Thank you Impact Africa for impacting me!”- Cassi Mhoon
