Episode 2: Paths

Even though I am accompanied by a group of 10 Americans, it has become very easy for me to find ways to share the gospel and the love of God without having to break the cultural barriers. One example is football, the universal sport that has helped me share the love of God with kids in these poor communities

In one of the outreaches in the Mswawa community we approached a woman and asked her how she was and after talking with her we asked her if there was anything to be praying for her. When we asked her that, he told us that she needed “Marriage Counseling” and prayer for her marriage. She then invited us to her house to meet her husband. We walked for 30 minutes down a ballast street away from the community and it was worth it. We met her amazing family and had the opportunity to pray for them and give personal counseling to each one. Also, her husband has the dream to, at some point in his life, create an orphanage in Malawi, his native country, and to help other children by teaching them about the word of God.

God has been very good by showing me his love and his presence through such personal things as my love for soccer. For more information you can visit the following web page: https://impactafrica.z2systems.com/efra
